On September 8th, Avantiico hosted a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM) 10.0.49 Update Webinar, a live session that helped D365 F&SCM teams understand the latest One Version release before it reaches their environment. The event was held in partnership with Snowden Consulting, a United Kingdom (UK) based Microsoft Partner, whose release management perspective joined our own D365 experience and reflects a broader collaboration on support.
“Update readiness doesn’t stop when a webinar ends, and neither do the questions that come with a release like 10.0.49,” said Chris Barbera, Director of Managed Services at Avantiico. “Partnering with Snowden Consulting means our customers can reach an experienced consultant during hours our own team doesn’t cover, thanks to Snowden’s UK-based hours, and their customers get the same support from our team when they need it. We have no call centers, or tiered support – just direct access to a dedicated team that can actually solve your issues.”
Support Coverage That Follows the Clock
Because Snowden Consulting and Avantiico work in different time zones, one team’s day begins as the other winds down, which lets each team pick up where the other leaves off. Avantiico customers gain access to support during the overnight window of midnight to 6 AM Pacific, while Snowden’s customers can reach our team during their United States business hours. Organizations evaluating D365 support partners now have a real option to access experienced D365 consultants on an expanded schedule.
“Through our partnership with Avantiico, we’re proud to offer our customers the best of both worlds: local expertise combined with global support coverage, delivering true 24/7 service whenever it’s needed,” said Jo Perry, Alliance & Partnerships Manager at Snowden Consulting.
Why a Partner Perspective Matters for 10.0.49
The same collaboration shaped the webinar itself. Monika Duplessis of Snowden Consulting joined Chris Barbera, Brandon Nash, Michael Cavanaugh, Jenna Patino, and Brayden Short from our team, and together distilled the hundreds of changes in this version down the most impactful new features. The combined team then showcased key new capabilities and called out the changes most likely to create downstream issues if they’re overlooked. The aim was a practical plan for testing, validating, and deploying the update.
“Every D365 update touches security, integrations, and business processes to some degree, and the teams that prepare before it lands are the ones that stay in control of the rollout,” Chris added. “Understanding what’s changing in 10.0.49 update allows for accurate testing, validating compatibility with third-party solutions, and most importantly avoids surprises with your users the day the update is live.”
The timing adds some urgency. General availability for self-update began September 11, 2026, and Microsoft’s first production auto-update occurs as early as October 2, 2026, so the window to test and validate on your own terms is already open and getting shorter.
Preparing Before the Update Reaches Production
Teams that want to go deeper can watch the webinar recording on demand, and our 10.0.49 update guide walks through what the release includes, what deprecates, and how to manage the service update itself.
Our partnership with Snowden Consulting extends coverage into overnight hours, with real consultants, not a call center. You'll work with a dedicated team who already knows your environment, so you're never stuck repeating the situation to someone new.Interested in D365 Support With Experienced Consultants in Your Time Zone?
